Lord Voldemort is back, but nobody but Dumbledore seems to be taking Harry's word for it. After a long and boring summer at Privet Drive, cut off from wizarding news, it takes an unexpected Dementor attack to bring Harry back to reality.
In the middle of the night, Harry is whisked away by a group of wizards from the Order of the Phoenix, a secret organization formed by Dumbledore to fight Voldemort. He is excited, as always to return to Hogwarts, his true home. But this year, things are going to be different. The Ministry has begun interfering at Hogwarts. In an attempt to discredit Dumbledore and Harry, sick and twisted new Professor Umbridge is insisting on torturing Harry and making him pay for telling the truth.
Surrounded by his friends, Harry must overcome the biggest obstacle of all - facing the newly regenerate Lord Voldemort in his full strength. As Harry learns the truth about his destiny, his friends will be there to face whatever lies ahead right along with him.
